Here's a ref sheet of the Shadow Girl.
As you can see, this shadow lady is very devious, she can manipulate any person's shadows and copies their name. You can see why she doesn't have a name of her own. However, she gets bigger when it's too dark at night. In the end, she's been living in Emily's shadow without even noticed.
