That's because it's use is limited and cost of hardware is high, same with OR today, which only offers better visuals but nothing new.

When you can touch and feel things with physical and sensory feedback, theeen it'll be interesting.

I always said that the OR would be an awesome platform for Macro/Micro and POV stuff. Fingers crossed for more development! I should hopefully be picking up a dev kit soon.

I have a feeling once OR becomes semi-common place, I would be making my renders and animations for it. It'll probably be as simple as setting up a wide field of view with binocular vision, a few button clicks with any 3D animation software

It's great so far! The lost at sea demo actually started to make me a little sea sick. The head tracking is pretty perfect, and the screen door effect is mostly gone. It's still a little jaggy but I need to give it it's test run on Skyrim, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Try Dreadhalls if you get the chance. It's such a simple game, and doesn't look scary at all just watching it, but when you're in the Rift it is terrifying! I almost ripped it off my head one time and couldn't play anymore XD
