Yeah... I actually own male Pokemon... >> They are my four gentlemen, two of which are male-only species hence why lol
Firu: he was my first Pokémon ever when I was like 10. The only Pokemon that had a name back then, so I kept it in my dear memory.
He used to be very strong and brave but now he's a lazy ass and spends his time picking his nose.
Teo: He's quiet most of the time but he enjoy battles a lot and loves spring for some reason. He also likes hanging out with my Mienshao, Clove....
Aniel: A gentle big ol' bird. He's chilly most of the time but he also has a tremendously huge fighting spirit and can go berserk in a split second. He's incredibly powerful and quite rash at times. Can be considered the guardian of the team.
Gabriel: Epitome of elegance, Gabriel is the youngest of my male team, and the most well-mannered of them as well. Despite having an incredible power, he prefers not to fight (but when a battle is required, he won't have mercy on the foe).

They four of them don't make a team though! They are part of other teams I have in various games (For example Typhlosion is in a team with Ampharos and Azumarill, Braviary is in a team with Ampharos, Skarmory, Lucario and Samurott, etc...)

Same to me. But i try to have one from the 4 basis Elements in it to have no disadvantages against the Arena Champs.
Also Fire, Water, Sky and Plant (better than Earth and Rock) and the last two are most Special Elements like Ice, Dragon, Dark, Psy etc.
But the Main difference i think is, that my Team is most of the Time Female only, or with only one Male in it.
I think that comes because my Trainer is a male, so he has one Pal on which he can rely on and so many girlfriends as can fit into the team.
You can say Boys Stuff, but i must think most of the Time when i play the Games on the Storys of Boss_Snickrot and some other Writeartists that make Pokemon Storys and he is one of them, who has the longest Journey written to this time that i know.
I like the Storys of Wolf and Lucky and there Adventures and sometimes i try to imagine, how it would be to have a Real Pokemon Team as Friends in the Pokemon World.
Yeah, I'm 31, but dreams and wishes have no age limit.
I grew up with, so it's a part of my childhood that I still enjoy the series because yes still continues. ^^

Well, apart from these four, the rest of my Pokemon are all female! I dunno why haha it has been like that for yearssss
And it's ok! Pokemon allow us to dream of fantastic things, it's also part of my childhood and my current life, I can't explain how much it means to me. It's very enjoyable and give a lot of people happiness in a variety of forms regardless their age gender or whatever! Pokemon is for everyone to enjoy^^

Instant +10 awesomeness boost right there folks. So many people seem to forget that a game is supposed to fun (and then conversely complain when their team made up entirely of pseudo-legendaries and ubers makes the it too easy). Nothing better than triumphing over an opponent with "better" 'mons than yourself, be they AI or human, thanks to better strategy and move deployment.
Also? I totally wanna hug that Arcanine. GIANT ADORABLE PUPPY!

I don't know how it is for you, but in my Games and Storys i don't like to catch Legendarys.
I think, they are so special and rare, they have a right to be free.
If they decide from self, to be with a Trainer, thats Okay for me, but not to catch one only it is because it is so much stronger than all others.
Sure, if there is a Download Action that brings Legendarys, than i use them too. But i use them really rare in Ingame Battles.
It's not my Game style, and if i think over, that i have trained and fight with my mons, earns all 8 badges and then put some of them away, only because i have some LvL 100 Legendarys in a box...
As a Trainer i would shame myself and i think my Pokemon would be very disappointed by me and thats something, i can't stand.
Oh, and I very looking forward to the 16th Movie! :D
