This is my first footpaw I have ever made and it will be for my electrocat fursuit (WIP).
I used a pair of doggers (nock off shoes like crocks), high density foam, DF fur (distinctivefabric.com), hot glue, high impact flooring foam (for bottom of paw), and white nylon extra strong thread (that I used to hand sew all 12 pieces together).
I also used sheers to shave the white fur on the toes and used the tapping method when I created the fur pattern.
Considering I wanted them to be really big paws I am really happy with how they turned out.
Just got to finish the right paw now. Got the hand paws all cut out, shaved, and ready to be sewn next :)

Yeah that is the same thing for me too! But I found a website the sells nice resin masks, so I broke down and bought a feline one.
I honestly tried to make a foam head but I didn't like the look of it, too huge and clunky... So until I learn how to make a better one, I guess I will be ordering that one part *shrug*

I got green high density foam from the joanns fabric store up in north Austin off of mocap/loop one. But I am sure other places sell it, including other fabric stores. The price all depends on the thickness you get, I wanted really big foot paws so I got the one that was around $30 a yard but had them cut it to around 3/8 of a yard cause I only needed the expensive thick one for the feet at the time. But I am now realizing I want it for the digi legs too so I wish I had gotten more :x If you do go to the same place be sure to get a coupon from online or something cause that will really help with the cost. But yeah it runs $14 a yard to $38 a yard depending on the thickness of the foam. They do sell cheaper white foam too that you may want to use. That joanns has a huge foam selection, it's awesome.
Yay!!! It's going to be a lot of long hours with needle and thread I will warn you but I am sure you have already been warned lol I am currently sitting on my bed hand sewing the other foot paw together while watching youtube fursuit videos. I injured my knee really bad the other day so I am trying to not walk on it. Looks like a weekend of sitting and fursuit making for me!(and studying for a DC circuit test ;>.>)
