I was invited to Matthew Ebel's beer bash this year. We took a tour of the Red Hook brewery in Portsmouth NH and the bartender told us the history of some of the beers. He mentioned a town that had a very small police force and I starting mumbling a few lines from Alice's Resturant

"Folks I wanna tell you about the town of Stockbridge Massachusetts. They got three stop signs, two police officers, and one police car..."

Matthew paused and turned to me. "Were you just quoting Arlo Guthrie?"

I hesitantly admitted, "Yes?"

"well played sir!"

We toasted whatever was left in our beer glasses paying homage to our musical intellect.
