Whenever I have the pleasure to meet and speak with famous people, especially musicians who inspire me, I like to make it a thing to have them sign my sketchbooks. A lot of my inspiration comes from the things that all my favorite music styles and bands do for me personally. For me a great song/album can fill my head with ideas and thoughts that I would eventually pursue artistically.

Alcest is one such band that inspires me to no end, the music and songwriting of Neige is just indescribably beautiful and vivid. I identify with a lot of the feelings and themes that he expresses through his sound, and actually meeting him was a sincere pleasure! Very humble and sincere, a true artist.

He and the drummer Winterhalter gladly signed the cover of my current sketchbook, which happened to feature a few of my Blinks. He loved them, and they reminded him of the art of Fursy Teyssir, another similar musician/artist, what an HONOR!!!
