just being curious, is this going to be text-based? Or vocal-based? I'm assuming the first option. But considering most of the programs suggested have primarily audio functions as well, so I just wanted to be sure.

I'm not really familiar with the timeline where things are going to be taking place here as I haven't really seen what kind of things happened in 2422. None of the series or movies have taken place in the 25th centuries and the game is still early in the century at 2409, as best as I can tell.

So with that in mind, what kind of things have been going on this timeline to get a better sense of what kind of background a character might have? Or is it kind of up in the air to make something that more or less seems appropriate?

I may be interested in this either way. :) I never played the Star Trek Online game. But I probably should...
