I don't do fan art very often, but Minna Sundberg is running a fan art contest for her webcomic A Redtail's Dream, which is one of my very favorite comics so I thought I'd enter! This is probably the most complicated thing I've done digitally (and I'm pretty sure it's the first real background I've done in digital, even if it's not much of one), and I'm fairly pleased with it. The composition is slightly lopsided but I like it anyways. Often when I do fan art, the original artists style kind of bleeds into mine, so this time I tried pretty hard not to let that happen- I think I succeeded!
