the game freezes on me, losing all that progress.

I got a shiny shinx once. I stayed up. all. night, and partially into the morning. Part of my fault is pokemon music makes me slightly sleepy as well.
So after catching it, and running to the pokecenter yada yada i shut off my DS and craaashed.
Only to wake up hours later to realize, i hadn't saved. u____u
