Somewhere over the skys of Western Europe...
I have to redo the cockpit, but he flies a P-47c model, both the English and the Germans didn't know what to make of that aircraft, if you looks at the Spitfire, and t he ME-109, they look like racing planes, and the jug looks like some old truck your uncle use to drive...
Quinn is ready to take to the air again, and his ground chief wants to make sure he gets his aircraft back in one piece...

Lessee.. yeah, the canopy needs a rework, glazing rigs in the wrong place, and the windscreen seems a little twisted. The "Jug" hade a very atypical canopy of the period, at least until the later models with the "bubble" canopy. Other wise, a great illo, of onr one of the less recognized fighters of WW II. By the way, did you know that there were a couple of squadrons of P-47's in Italy flown by Brazilians? I think there may have been one from Mexico, too. THE COLONEL
BTW. Back when I was a kid, some time in the mid 50's[57,I think] my family were spending a couple of weeks at the beach [O.C.,Md] and a flight of p-47's buzzed the beach. It seems that the Delaware Air Guard were still flying the beasts at that time. Something that I have never forgotten. THE COLONEL
