I got bored so I made a character. Not one that I will probably ever draw again, but I thought I would have fun with her for the time being =)

Bio time!

Kayla is from the Cieo (see-oh) family, known for their weponsmiths. They have a tradition of naming a Master Weaponsmith who is taught the skill of forging the Ring Lance. Only the previous Master Weaponsmith can pass on the skill to one of their children. Kayla's mother dies in childbirth, and her father refused to have to conceive a boy. So Kayla got taught how to forge the Ring Lance. This angered just about everyone that a girl was going to become the Master Weaponsmith, but they grudgingly accepted her out of respecting the fathers choice. After her father passed away and she got the title, she proved to be a very competent weaponsmith. Though it still never swayed anyone's opinion of her. Kayla decided to basically ignore everyone and change the thousand year design of the Ring Lance to create something more useful. So her Ring Lance "Maggie" was made. She dropped all the frills and shinies in favor of a more useful design, and included the ability to retract the handle.
Normally, the purpose of the Ring Lance is to be able to incapacitate your enemy and leave them defenseless. Kayla, instead, favored a design made to rip off peoples arms and let them bleed out to death. While the change showed to be more useful, it royally pissed off her entire family. Many of which already hated her. So many agreed to have her assassinated and replaced with a new Master Weaponsmith. Upon hearing this, Kayla struck first. She killed everyone in her family so no-one would come after her, and she left.
Now, she takes up mercenary jobs drifting from town to town looking for someone to teach how to make the Ring Lance and respect her fathers wishes of continuing on the skill. Though she isn't much trusted, being that she is batshit crazy and killed her entire family in self defense and all. Plus she makes her opponents bleed out instead of just killing them outright. Plus she talks to Maggie like a good friend, though she does it as a joke to mess with people.
