Jasper with a satchel of laundry to wash. Finally managed to draw him anthro, and while I do really like it, I have to admit I'm still not 100% satisfied with his design. Still workin' it out. :'3 The funny Irish cap stays, though! I loves it.
This was also a big coloring experiment, both with trying to color fur in a more realistic style, and trying to make coloring white things on toned paper easier. I am so stupid to make a nearly all-white character while I'm in a recycled-paper-only phase. Bwaaahh. The fur also kinda sucks, I need major practice.
IN SHORT, NOTHING REALLY WORKED, BUT IT'S STILL KINDA CUTE, BECAUSE HAY IT'S JASPER.

I like this anthro version of Jasper, and I'm not usually that big on the anthro raccoons I see. And yeah, the hat works I admit though, the 1st thing I thought when I saw him was "Oh yay.....another 'raccoon stealing someone's trash' pic" The stereotype is really hard to forget.
BTW, raccoons are considered semi-plantigrade, so I guess his overall posture as a biped could be just about anything.

Yesss~ I knew about the plantigrade thing, but since I've grown so used to drawing only digitigrade creatures over the years, it's a bit of a challenge. Just giving him pants would be an easy solution, but I want to keep him clothes-less, so I'm trying to figure out how to design his legs with something like "fur breeches". :'D We'll see how it goes~
