Its the same thing. During the Clone Wars, while Mandalore changed to be more peaceful, this Death Watch, who now is the true Mandalorians and follow the old ways that everybody has seemed to have forgot. They are fighting to reclaim the true ways of Mandalore.

I dislike the idea of turning a Clan-based society into a constitutional Monarchy. But then again, the disneyfication started allready back thejn. xD

In the show we only seen 1 city. We have no idea whats going on in other places on mandalore. For all we know its the only city like that cause when the war started, there was tons of mandos that came and joined in for the fight. Besides the mando history was in the eu and the eu was never canon to begin with.

Well, from my knowledge is Mandalore covered with forests and grasslands, not much is seen of that in the Series, saldy.

But i am pretty sure the majority of Mandaloreans live mostly in villages and small towns.

Oh no mandalore has not looked like that in many many years. They destoyed the planet with a war long ago. This was even said before the clone wars was created

Weird, since it is said in the books that the Forests of Mandalore got purged during the Yuuzhan Vong Wars nearly 40 years after the clone wars. And those books are far older then the TV show.

There is a book i have at home from 2007 or 2008 and it is the complete star wars guide and if i recall the currect words under mandalore it says something like after a war withthe jedi, mandalore has become a barrien wasteland of desserts.

I know the surrounding planets and the moons of mandalore as forests and farming.

This is why the eu is restarting cause of writers making it a complete mess in 20 years.

The Planet had deserts indeed, the Capitol during the Clone Wars was Sundari, which was surrounded by deserts. But the planet had also jungle like forests and fruitful farmlands.

The planet in the Clone Wars Show is just a pittyful messed up version of the actual version in the books.
There are many things they messed up in the Clone Wars Series, Mandalore is just one of them.

Yeah, as i said we inly seen that part in the show.

Well, i consider the show to be very, very non-canon. They changed a lot to make it more fitting for a younger group of watchers.
