For when you want to drag around your bitch in style. This is a chainmail leash that is about 3'2" so it is just a little longer then an arms length so it can be worn by a person without issue. It may look flimsy but trust me it's not.
The chain itself is 14G stainless steel with a stainless steel swivel clasp that will turn in place for ease of use. The weave is Harvest Moon.
These are for sale btw.
AS ALWAYS I CAN MAKE ANYTHING IN ANY METAL AND COLOR AND I TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS.
PLEASE SEE THE REST OF MY GALLERY FOR MORE OF MY WORK.

Hehe thanks. Funny enough this was a spur of the moment boredom work lol.
Ah so you are more of a costume weaver then. That is pretty cool. I myself do not often do clothing because it requires so much time and materials so I only do them on commissions which is very rare.
You know you one of the only polite maillers I have met on this site. Care to chat some time?

Well, your spur of the moment piece has given me the inspiration to try my own creations like the beautiful examples in your gallery. (=
Yupperdoo! I love making costume pieces. Lol, I made my friend a solid sheet of maille for Christmas last year and I ended up using 1.500+ feet of galvanized steel. The thing weighed over 20 pounds! And I hand coiled and cut all the rings...O.o My hands were cramped for weeks, I swear. I learned my lesson after that!
Aww, really? I've only met one other maille artist here and he was friendly-ish, but not nearly as outgoing as you. ^_^ I'd love to chat with you! Maybe even get some advice from you on how to go about working on projects too. I mainly use Windows Live/MSN but if you use a different system I can certainly download it. My MSN is CheckeWolf[at]hotmail.com

Awesome. I love inspiring people because it lets me know my work has an affect on people.
Ouch I hate and coiling and cutting rings from anything. Get yourself a cutting rig. Also I HATE galvy steel. It is the most vile substance in the world. Stainless steel or nothing I say.
Sure thing I would not mind talking shop with you. Keep in mind my work is mostly jewelry and statuary knowledge. I also have windows live and I have added you. I will send you a PM to let you know my name.

I hear that. Coiling and cutting is awful. X_x I figured out how to rig up a screwdriver and a wooden down for the coiling, and I use my dremel tool for cutting. Life is MUCH easier that way! *shudders* I hate galvanized steel too. I have to wear gloves when I work with it. Thing is, it's cheap and LARPers go through a lot of maille rather quickly, and I'm their repair girl. xD I would love to make myself something out of stainless steel though!
