My school commissioned me for a mascot
and here it is
alot of stress into this
since they didn't specify anything, i went with artistic liberty
they didn't like it... so had to redo things a couple times... even though they still made 0 specifications, just said it looked bad. So here it finally is!
My first body suit
First time with LED eyes
Removeable mohawk
Made to fit 170 lbs or so
Model is 117 lbs (very baggy on me)

They were probably thinking the whole huge headed, somewhat scary, almost halloween store costume quality ones ( http://www.funfolly.com/g/mascots/u/cu43705d.jpg ) that I personally think look like crap.
They just told you it didn't look good and won't accept it at all?
I think it's cute and it doesn't look anywhere near "bad", like the one I linked to. If it had been me I wouldn't have done anymore work on it unless they gave me specifications. In fact I would have had someone draw it up or give a good detailed example/description before I had done it because these materials aren't cheap!

A lot of them scare me xD I know it's probably a lot cheaper and more convenient given the same person won't be wearing the mascot forever, but the faces are always just so, I unno @u@
Well I'm glad they paid for all the stuff then because that would have been super shitty of them otherwise. Did they let you know exactly wasn't right about it? And are they going to keep it at all or you're going to re-do some things and send it in? I'm nosy xD

If I went to a school and this was the costume for the mascot I'd be like aaaahh so friendly and cute, and then you find out one of the students did it with what spare time they had and it just makes it even better! I unno, I think they're silly to not like it.

That looks like shag fur though and even when I had just started out working with fur I could tell the difference between cheap and nice haha
