2 versions, Mk. 0 and Mk. 1. Latter version has simplified aesthetics. Based on a generic revolver model.
- The giant pin-like things around the mace are the bullets. Appropriately, they can be fired by means of short to mid-range combustion, usually the type that explodes on a large-ish radius.
- At the top of the Dire Mace, there's one more bullet slot that can act like a spear with an extended range. Can be modified using different types of bullets.
- Mk. 0 has a pair of hooked handles resembling gun grips, for multipurpose use, such as hooking it on rope-like objects to slide to the other side, much like a flying fox. Mk. 1 retains this feature, with 5 hooks, and when sheathed, can stab instead of Mk. 0 bludgeoning people to death.
