For all my contempt of Disney, I did enjoy my stays at Disney World. Back when I last visited in 2010, I remember coming across figurines made from molds of Mickey Mouse but painted to resemble other characters, Disney or otherwise. I thought the idea was admittedly clever in a way, especially seeing how some models like the Muppets would fill in the "ear spaces". And for whatever reason, the mental image came back to me as I was browsing SCP Foundation articles. Next thing you know...
Hey, kids! Now you can help D-Class Mickey Mouse through your very own recreations of SCP-087 and SCP Foundation: Containment Breach. Can our plucky young rodent make his way through those darkened halls without facing termination at the hands of a vicious monster? Probably, if the Disney people were to see this. Though Mickey might take care not to stare at SCP-096 to his right.
I had originally intended to have SCPs 682 and 106 as a part of this set. However, 682 proved too difficult to work as a bipedal figure design and, if I can be honest, looking at 106 made me nauseous really quick. So I decided to just throw in SCP-993 ("Bobbles the Clown") as a kind of gag. Overall, I tried to make the designs somewhat akin to both the SCPs' respective article pictures and video game models while also working them to resemble styles I saw employed on the Vinylmation figurines.
Damn my love of crossovers.
Top
- SCP-173 (a statue that moves unless it's being looked at and will often try to kill whoever's around)
- SCP-087-B (a monster residing at the "bottom" of SCP-087, a seemingly endless stairwell)
- SCP-049 (a living Plague Doctor suit that tries to "cure" people but actually infects and turns them into zombies)
Bottom
- SCP-993 (an IT-like monster that currently manifests as a clown trying to make kids into sociopaths)
- SCP-096 (a scared humanoid that will FIND and DESTROY you if you see even a little of its face)
- D-Class Mickey Mouse (D-Class Personnel are the Red Shirts of the series)
