"Oh a child of man"

I've been wanting to make a monster for some time now thanks to  uninstall , not talking with him or anything. Just browsing and enjoying his art. So I sat down for a bit wondering how I should make a monster, and thought up various ideas. A birdy snake, a corgi toucan griffon, or just developing further on animals instead of mixing and matching.

While at work today though I recalled I already had a monster, or something like a monster. Back when I was writing The Old World Jam I developed an area called the feather forest. It was going to be the second place the group would have visited on their journey.

The forest itself is filled with unnaturally large pine tress, with feathery like leaves. An Enormous bird people, as in the picture. They roam around in tribes looking for places to nest, food, and others to bring into their tribe. With their main defining features being their large (even for them) beaks, feather mane, and how they move around. They hop from place to place unable to fly, or walk normally.

So I decided to draw one, since it seemed proper. An I wanted to draw a monster thing anyway..
