Finally this sketch gets to see the light..
I wanted to make some anthro/ furry characters based on South American animals,so this group of friends was created =)
All of them love videogames, among other things. They live in the coast of my country and go to highschool.
They really don't mind if the other guys think they are weird, geeks,nerds or whatever..
From left to right:
Gus/ Gustavo (tamandua)
His is one year older that the rest. He likes riding his bike and loves retrogames. He really likes talking about that, even if his friends doesn't know what he is talking at all. He just regrets he was too young when the Sega/ Nintendo rivalry took place.
* Favourite consoles: NES / Sega Genesis and PC engine.
Jero/ Jerónimo (yacaré)
As an extreme sonyer and hardcore sony fan he can be really annoying sometimes. He doesn't care of what came first after the Playstation One. He really believes that games started after that point. He also loves surfing and spends a good amount of time in the water.
* Favourite consoles: All Playstations, and he's waiting for the PS4.
Guille/ Guillermo (carpincho)
A shy nintendo (self proclaimed) fanboy. He is also a good skater, even he doesn't talk much about it. Jero is always picking on him for liking Nintendo, but Guille just thinks Jero is an idiot that doesn't know much about games. After all, if it wasn't for Nintendo, the PS wouldn't exist. Or at least that's what he thinks.
*Favourite consoles: Super Nintendo, N64, Gamecube and Wii. And of course Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS (now)
Teo/ Mateo (aguará guazú)
He's a funny guy who is kind of new about console gaming. He used to play more on the pc, though he's not that elitist. Once his older brother bought an Xbox 360 he became an Xbox fan almost intermediately. Sometimes he's treated as a newbie because of this, however he tries to learn more about console gaming whenever he can. He likes picking on Guille too, for playing "games for kids", but the truth is that Jero bothers him a lot too for being an xbox live player.
He loves playing basketball in the public parks.
* Favourite consoles: Xbox 360, and waiting for Xbox One.

Well I have a very extensive list. But I'll say some:
He - Man , She-Ra, Inhumanoids, TMNT (86's), Ghostbusters, Swat Kats, Pirates of Dark Waters, Cowboys of Moo Mesa, Kissy Fur, Raibow Bright, Robotech, Dinosaucers, Dinoriders, Transformers (80's), Tiny Toon (Looney Toons too..but they are older), Thundercats, Silverhawks, Smurfs, Dungeons and Dragons, My Little Pony (old ones!), many animes (ranita demetan, hutch la abejita valiente, Candy Candy, la flor de los 7 colores..Don't know the name in English) and so on =P
There were a lot of cartoons in the 80's, but I remember more between 89 and 95.

About Robotech, it was a special case. Macross is the original show and it's quite different of the american modified show. Anyway I grew with the american version and I love it the way it is.
Robotech were originally three shows put together that had nothing to do with each other, but since Macross was to short and the standard for animated series required like 60 episodes to be put on air, Harmony gold bought two anime shows more (apart from Macross) and make some modifications to make them look as the same show. So Robotech was born: Mix between Macross / Southern Cross / Mospeada

Me neither, but some local magazines wrote about that many years ago and most people found out the thruth. I saw very little of the original Macross and I didn't like that the music wasn't the same and that it was to silent at moments. The feeling is different, but the story in Robotech sometimes didn't make sense, but I guess the original did XD
