"Mother Russia, Mother Russia..." Ivan sang as he jogged down the sidewalk alongside Tank. He was dressed in his standard tank-top, shorts and baseball cap with the bill worn behind his head.
Tank, on the other hand, was wearing a bulky winter coat, three layers of sweatpants, ski goggles, a ski cap, pair of heavy gloves on the top of his long ears, and had remarked upon going out he was still freezing in the unexpected twenty degree weather.
"This is Reno, not Mother Russia, Ivan. You're crazy," Tank said, his voice muffled as he folded his arms and huddled into the coat. "I can't jog anymore. The cold's sapping my will to exist, and I want nothing more to do with this weather! It shouldn't be this cold!"
Ivan continued singing, ignorant of the rabbit's proclamation. He occasionally added a little bounce in his jog, matching the delight in his heart being around all the snow and cold.
Tank spoke a little louder this time: "You. Are. Crazy!"
Ivan stopped singing. "Vhy do you say such thing?"
Tank gestured at the snow whipping around them. "You wanted to go jogging in this freezing cold weather. You are now skipping. You're seven feet tall, weigh over three hundred pounds, and have a long, fluffy tail that I trip over too many times. I know you love the cold, but this..."
Ivan smiled. "I know is disappointing. It should be much colder, da?"
Tank took a second to comprehend what Ivan was saying. "You want it to be colder."
Ivan didn't even hesitate to answer: "Da."
Tank rolled his eyes, and Ivan could see the buildup of "Enough-is-Enough" behind them. "You're crazy. Can we go back to the apartment? I have to spend a few hours defrosting."
