Cell-shaded comish for
FoxDragon of his fursona, Sunoth, the kitsune!
Phew, been a while since I've done a feral fox, and even longer since I've done a kitsune! They're so pretty, I love all their tails! I wanted to go with a more realistic, elegant pose and look for this guy to really show off the warmth of the colours and his fluffiness. I love how the middle tail turned out, hehe! He's just like 'Yeah, dang, I'm so cool.'
Grr, I really worked hard to get this guy looking good. Tried looking at some fox refs but ultimately some canine muscle charts helped me the most. As is obvious and blown out of proportion on the internet by now, my strong point is dragons, so any constructive critique on this guy is welcome. But please actually say it to my face, instead of blasting me behind my back like what usually happens.
Anyway.

This is very georgous. You did a very job with the feral anatomy of the kitsune. Getting feral canine muscles shown up ripped is an amazing thing to do for an artist. (I've been trying to do the same thing with a werewolf character in feral wolf form, but he's much beefer in the muscles than the character you drew here. Like you I had to do my best with whatever anatomy charts I could find.) Also the rich coloring and shading is awesome.
