She doing practice runs or something? There's no blades in the sheathes on her hips, anyway, looks quite fitting, and despite how bizzare it would be, I actually can imagine attack on titan, but with ponies instead.

Because her weapon is Party Cannon! Since she don't want to slash and kill any enemy!

Then the sheathes don't really serve a use in her case since the tank and the nozzle for propelling themselves forwards to build speed is a seperate item entirely.

That why she don't have any Blade in her sheathes. But she wear it because she need Gas Tank that attract with sheathes. Since it's standard for all of 3D maneuver gear.

Now that I think about it it makes sense; they need some weight with the tanks for them not to spin out of control, though for all those characters they seem to be housing extra blades, though the disgns don't make sense for swords or armor, does not fit with the universe at all, the blades are designed only for style, they either are oversized and clumsy to use or they are too small to do enough damage on the titan weakspots, I wanna slap the art designers if they mmo-up the weapons to practical uselesness.

And not even with swords, how damn idiotic are those designers gonna get? He is not one for clothes like that, and he's a fucking badass with maneuver gear and proper equipment, and by proper I don't mean the flimsy short swords in the designs, nor the huge ones that don't seem to have any way to replace blades if broken or lost.

The equipment used in the Attack on Titan anime and manga is based on practicality, with some liberties taken about physics ofcourse, not counting in titans, the 3D maneuver gear seems logical, if somewhat unrealistic due to the hooks being nearly completely reliable over surprising distances and the force provided by the tiny tanks of air.
