After a lengthy discussion with a friend, I came to agree with him that my art is very soft around the edges, and unfocused when viewed at full resolution. The paintings read well from a distance but lose all sense of crisp refinement as you come closer in.
With this in mind, I decided to experiment with the brushes again.
Usually I paint with a fixed sized brush and pressure sensitive opacity, but this time around, I switched the settings to fixed opacity and pressure sensitive size! This gave a much more paint-like feel, where the opacity had to be changed manually and the coating with a hard brush was absolute. It took a bit of getting used to, but I think the end result was well worth the experiment!

In all seriousness though, this is such a surprising change from your normal style but it came out absolutely beautiful. I think those who might have questioned your artistic capabilities (if anyone ever did~) due to the blurriness of your previous works at higher resolutions have to stop and go "Damn!"
Well done, Marmar~
