Dragonelles and Drakes, hatchlings male and female, and all other species. Introducing the TONderful, FATastic, FLABulous, and admittedly shy...
Tyler the Eastern Lung!!!
Everyone say hello to my new OC! Inspired by a story I read years ago (you can find the author here.) Tyler is almost you're run-of-the-mill Eastern Lung. Symbolism of luck and fortune, adored by millions of Chinese simply by existing, constantly in situations involving uncomfy decorative clothing, he lives a good life. He was human, but after his family took a trip to China to celebrate the Chinese New Year... well, let's just say that one should properly brace their celebratory pyrotechnics.
With the parade's dragon "destroyed," (really, it flew off in fright and refused to return.) the Chinese needed a new dragon. The resident monk was on hand and, one spell and 12 hours later, you have China's new mascot!
In preparing for the celebration, soon found out the perks of being a dragon in China. Unfortunately for him (fortunately for us), he discovered that his particular species thrived by storing enormous amounts of calories for... well, whatever came their way.
Nowadays, Tyler is back in the states, enjoying being a dragon and the occasional enlargement of his frame.
Art is from the epic
and the character idea is from
tdress.

Decorative clothing. If you remember, at some point in the story, the Chinese folks started putting lots of decorative clothes on him and gave him pot after pot of rice. Most of the clothing was destroyed by his increasing size, but I liked the idea of a fat dragon with some decor. (It's actually attached to the chest piece.)
