Here we go, the first of three sets of drawings I've done recently. As you can see, with these I've once more gone into the kemono/manga-like style. And sadly yes, these are all just (semi)recreations of others' work, because I'm too shot to come up with new ideas and enjoy the challenge of trying to emulate some of the better pictures I've seen. Again I must make it ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that in NO WAY WHATSOEVER do I take credit for anything other than any alterations/deviations from the original. I drew these only as a challenge and as practice in the style.
The first one is a semi-recreation of part of an image originally drawn by Ka. Because I can't recreate kemono work without at least one Ka picture. The primary difference here (besides the other half of the picture, which has a fox girl) is her outfit. In the original, she's wearing the one-piece swimsuit commonly worn in Japan, while in this I put her in a purple bra and panties, for reasons I don't quite know.
The second, third, and fourth images were originally drawn by another skilled artist,
kishibe. The fox girl was originally blonde and I believe her tail had a white tip, but I made her brunette with a dark-tipped tail because she looked cuter. A friend suggested I make her eyes green, and I'm glad I agreed. She's also drinking green tea instead of chocolate milk/cocoa. The other two tanuki were recreated from pictures of Amaterasu. I couldn't do all the extra swirly stuff she's usually shown with, so I made them tanuki. Personally I think the brown eyes look much better on her than the blue. But oh well, too late to change it now.
