Yep, more recreations. No, none of these were traced. No, I don't take credit for the originals.
The first picture I originally found somewhere on Pixiv by an artist whose name I can't recall right now. I've always had a thing for miko, so drawing one was fun, even if her pose is a little suggestive for a shrine maiden. It should also be noted that her hakama are little more than knee-length. And MY GOD WERE THEY A PAIN TO DRAW. But I feel it was well worth it. The only changes this time were her eyes. I made them green again because I really green eyes.
The other three are again originally by
kishibe, and again were originally depicting Amaterasu. But I again turned them into tanuki, which I feel may very well be the most adorable creatures in existence, after otters. In the top-right I retained Amaterasu's red eyes, which I think look almost as good as brown. The blue eyes in the bottom-left indicate that the picture was done before those with red or brown eyes.
The last picture was found in Kishibe's Pixiv gallery, but on other sites was credited to an artist known as Sirokoma. Their styles can be almost impossible to differentiate, so it's very difficult to tell who actually drew the original, or if they're the same person. In any case, the only altered factors were the colour of her hair (brunette, not blonde) and that of her tailtip (brown instead of white). I absolutely LOVE her eyes in this picture. They're easily the most beautiful I've ever drawn, and that is saying a bit. This picture was also great practice for blending and transitioning colours, as her yukata starts off a peachy colour and gets progressively pinker near the shoulders, and then goes purple at the sleeve bottoms.
