Okay CZ devotees, here is your guide to the key points of the original 9x19mm Nato CZ 75 series.
Upper left shows my now familiar CZ 75 First model. note the original rounded controls (slide stop/release, and thumb safeties). these design features carry over in to the (top right) CZ 75 "PRE-B" model. Note both First model and PRE B have rounded trigger guards, spur-style hammers, and rounded controls.
Finally, (bottom) a CZ 75B. Note the commander style hammer, squared off trigger guard and squared off controls. Note that both the PRE-B and B models have the elongated lower frame rails, which were requested by Military purchasers of at least one client CZ marketed the pistols to.
Please note that the PRE B and B models have Hogue aftermarket grips, these guns were not shipped with these grips, but hard plastic grips like that of the CZ 75 First model. Although the grip style did change, neither pistol included the Hogue grips from the factory.
