I am nearly done with this now!
I will be finishing it off in mold making and crossing my fingers that the mold goes off well (it going to be a challenge mold with all these holes and undercuts)
I will also be posting a dump on top of this with different angles of the sculpture and different light sources for better detail on the sculpture but I felt the dramatic light source was fitting for the subject matter...
god anyone remember these from my old account ? http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7416676/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7466224/ came a awful long way XD

thank you so very much. this is going to just be a prop.
though I could mold the top haft as a over the head tribal type mask but its not the correct sises for a legitimate mask at lest not for me maybe for someone smaller.
Though that being said I'm actually in the process of making several charter mask including my fursona witch is ready to be molded as well as some prosthetics soon to be made after doing a face cast at the end of this week .. I also done several figurines though I haven't had much time to work on them, anyways I try to update this account with new work in the near future.
thank's again.

I'm also looking forward to seeing the finished results molding is funny that way I wont know until it done I'm just hoping for the best XD
anyway as for molding it really depend on what your modeling the basics is pretty simple but molds like this one are pretty complex because of the undercuts and holes though out .. and certain kinds of sculpture need different kinds of molds.
one good place to start is https://www.stanwinstonschool.com/tutorials https://www.stanwinstonschool.com/t.....ate-goes-wrong there a mini lesson here that's cheaper and gives the basics of it. there also free lessons if you search hard enough online I am actually taking a studio class in my home town.

Thanks anyway and Think nothing of it. ^^
I may have a few years experience but I still have allot to learn. Every sculpture need different kinds of molds and there are 100s of ways to do them. It's interesting to learn about though for me the joy is both sculpting it and seeing the mold turn out. The molding process always is the part were I begin to worry. Still interesting but scraping a peace because of a shoty mold sucks ^^;
