Had to say what to recommend - there is so much competiton out there for an artist. But looking at your style, if there's any one thing I think you should capitalise on, it's to use your talent for painting wonderfully expressive eyes. Perhaps try making the eyes the centrepiece of your pieces of art.
Thank you for the really good advice. I think that's the most helpful thing anyone has ever pointed out. I am firever saying "It's all in the eyes". I'm so silly. How would you reccomend I go about this though? I mean, icons, sure... But my other work. The species and adoptables I plan to sell and auction?
Hmm... I think whatever you draw will have more or less success, it's hard to say specifically that e.g., adoptables are the way to go.
As far as your art goes, I'd guess...
Use colour. Perhaps either make the rest of the image in greys or muted colours but make the eyes bright.
Use good composition so that the eyes fall in a part of the picture the viewer's own eyes will be naturally drawn to. Reference books should give you some good pointers on this.
Make the eyes really pop in the art and you should succeed no matter what you do.
I know it takes a bit of money, but I swear buying an ad is a really good idea. It'll give you plenty of exposure and you only need a small number of commissions to make the money back. It's worth it even only as a 1-month experiment.

I've been considering that. Who do I contect or where can I find that information? I know I personally have watched countless people with ads.
I think I'd be looking a month or two down the road, so I can get some great art togther fir the ad. Also I'd need to know dimention information and size of file.
