i love how you can make fetish art look so cute and harmless and enjoyable, because for the most part that's how fetishes are for people, even if some of them could be perceived as strange. really i have a lot of feelings about fetishes and kinks and stuff and it makes me very happy to see artists with a positive attitude about drawing them \o/

yeah i mean to me that's kinda how most of them read? like i don't really get them, but sex isn't meant to be something serious and dire and shameful. it's kinda weird and goofy and funny. and a fetish should sort of follow that line of thought. i mean some people like it a little darker, but when i'm given the choice i'd rather keep things light-hearted.

plus i feel like it's a really thin and blurry line to go from dark fetish art to stuff that's less a fetish and more just about...getting off on hurting others in a non-consenting way. and that's really Not Okay with me. better to stray towards the goofy cheerful end.
