I haven't posted any skull art in quite a while!
I finally got a dremel, and this is my first carving project with it. This coyote will be decorated with Apache-inspired designs. The carved bits will have color added to give it a little more life.
Skulls are really cool to carve, because when finished you can put a light inside them and make them glow like this, and it just looks super wicked.

I've seen people make full-blown skull lamps, with the wiring and everything, but I'm no electrician. You can put a string of Christmas lights inside the skull, or put a small bulb inside it, like a nightlight. (I'm going to try this with one of my smaller skulls).
Bone does burn, so just make sure whatever light you use doesn't get too hot. :>
