He couldnt sleep because of anxiety. The next day he is to showcase his skills for the academy and this fuels his anxiety because it will determine his courses and his place in the stratified justice Department. reluctantly, he had already been registered by state as a "Gifted" and the only way to legally hone his skill is with the academy. So much so he leaped from his bed in his dorm with nothing but the underwear and his head band on his head to practice on this foggy cold night in the coliseum.
here he is displaying his ability to concentrate and shape light in to forms of intense energy.
