It's been a long time since I've posted images (I'd collected over the years) from my various sketch books, and since this is my latest 'sweeps month' (September, 2013), I thought I'd post the most recent sketch I had acquired (on 9-24-13)...
Earlier this week, I had reunited with former "Rowrbrazzle" alumnus and current "Fur Affinity" member
Joe Strike - who I had not seen in over a decade! And even though our get-together only lasted a few hours, it was one of the best times I've had in years!
I had the chance to show Joe all three of my sketch books (including the black-covered 'fat furry' sketch book, which I had just received in my mail over a week ago, after a five-year absence), and offered him the opportunity to contribute some of his art in any one of them.
Long story short, he drew two art pieces in my BBSB (big black sketch book) and one art piece in my GFFSB (green 'fat furry' sketch book). The latter work - which you are looking at right now - was drawn under his alternate nom
Comus, and features a nameless human who undergoes a transformation into a bear - following the consumption of some honey, served by 'Komos' the lizard. Said honey had the obligatory 'side effect' of turning its consumer into a bear (and a rather fat one, at that)!
I hope to post the two other sketches by Joe Strike (and maybe a 'photo-op' or two of the two of us) before 'sweeps month' ends...
