I don't like using Events in a piano roll to change paramaters, making automation clips for them instead is much easier to work with imho.

Nope, you can make them with Nexus too! I use it in some of my songs.

First, you take a knob in the nexus interface, whichever one you like, and drag it around a bit, putting it in the place it was when it started if you want.
Then, you go to the menu button at the top left corner, go to "Last Tweaked Parameter", and then click "create automation clip".

It's something DM Ashura taught me how to do recently in one of the teaching seasons he gave me a few weeks ago. =3
