just provide the image of the animal and who I'm putting the head on (preferably long sleeves......have yet to figure out how to put fur all over the body )

To put fur on the arms, I'd think the clone tool would be your best bet. Set it for a patch of fur on the animal picture and just carefully fill in the lines.
