Thats about like the model that used to run through parts of my town. They recently restored the last survivor back to running condition in its original yellow with red roof and black frame. they've got a halfway decent pic on the front page of the web site. http://www.tecolinestreetcar.org/
Yep. The Birney was sorta the VW Beetle of trolleydom; kept some systems running an additional ten years or more before going bus. This one in particular became part of a diner in western Arkansas before returning to Ft. Smith for restoration in the late 70s...
