"Congrats on your 400th submission, Ace! Your furry art style is awesome!"
I got myself an awesome headshot from
who has recently surpassed the 400 submission milestone on her page.
For starters, I'm loving what she did with the background. Nice paint splattering of his wardrobe colours with soft fade around the edges. Somewhat reminiscent of street graffiti on walls which I find very artistic.
For the headshot itself, beautiful work on the hairdo! Maintained and stuck to the overall shape of the mane whilst applying her own artistic twist/style to it. Great job on the lighting effects as light is shining off of his hair. Equally great work on the shading in all the right places! Bangs are drawn very well. I'm liking how she has drawn the expression on his face; he looks wicked-cool! Great usage of stretch-and-compression with the eyes as he's winking; that in turn helps add to the awesomeness in his looks. Bonus points for adding a muzzle on my fursona (which I should really consider working on for my own artwork); the smiling teeth really stand out!
