
I immediately regretted ever thinking doing this would be fun. It looks cool as heck, but it’s a lot of hard work to do, even on this little raccoon jaw. Basically, I carved away the bone to expose the dentition underneath. The photo doesn’t show it well. I’ll take a better photo when I’m finished.
0/10 would not recommend, especially for newbie carvers (like me). Also, if you’re going to try this I highly recommend you have at least a basic concept of how dental beds and roots of the teeth are set up, and how they work. Or else you might end up carving the wrong areas, or have a cracked tooth. …My hand and back are screaming at me now.
