Another of the "beautiful things" I made in memory of my friend's horse, Faith. This particular one is for a young boy. I made everything on this, including the pouch. I picked the blue leather as it is my most prized and special of materials. The pouch holds a small plastic bags, of the size used by most bead stores for crystals or similar size beads. The piece hanging in the center of the pouch is a small talisman piece with Faith mane. The necklace it is on is constructed in the same way as the badge lanyards I make and have been torture tested by my colleges at work so I am quite confident in its durability.

I suppose I will put this out there, I am happy to make pieces like these as commission pieces but I really prefer making them for living animals. I wear three pouches myself, for three living horses, containing bits of hair and hoof (from helping with farrier day). They help me deal with midweek "pony withdrawal".
