To be honest, I was disappointed with Scyther's evolution. It just seems like from a praying mantis to any other kind of insect is a step down. Praying mantises are among the most amazing of insects. Lightning fast reflexes, and the ability to bring down prey much larger than themselves, up to and including birds. And Scyther's speed is a real advantage.
