Well, best get out the checkbook now because the Westin's not going to be too happy that we've done damage to their lobby (not to mention the damage to the entrance when we attempt to get outside)

The Halls in the David Lawrence are pretty big...but it would be rather difficult to get to there from here

DUDE.... that would be the BEST thing to see as the elevator doors opened and you stepped out into the footpaw-dominated lobby! Great looking characters and such fitting expressions. :) I'm sure the Con must have some appropriate side-events in case Macro happens to one or more participants. :)

it wasnt directly related to the con, and nobody was seriously hurt. so its understandable that it didnt make huge news. it was why that neat waterflow walkway was closed during anthrocon 2007, however. http://www.post-gazette.com/stories.....llapse-470903/

i'm not sure what you mean. the collapse fell onto the walking path that has the neat water path outdoors that leads to the riverside, it is accessible outdoors, on ground level.

I don't know...the article seems to be implying that the truck was somehow on the second floor...I'm probably not familiar with the loading dock that well, I wasn't aware it went onto the second floor as well

that loading dock is used for getting large equipment in and out of the 3 large showroom areas. anthrocon uses showroom C. all three of the large showrooms- A, B, and C, are on the second floor. the smaller showrooms, D and E, are on first floor.

It shifted around a couple of times since I've been working there (2006-2013).
