For some reason this dramatic lighting reminds me of that apocalypse dream at the beginning of that Terminator movie. Mudkip happy on playground...kaboom!

I'm not really sure what this thing is, but it is decidedly sinister and that... thing coming off its head... Is this an accurate depiction of pokemon? If so, when did the FLCL people get hired to animate this? This is the kind of thing that nightmares are made of. And not the cool kind of nightmare where you're Lobster Jones and you're faced with bloodlotus and warsaber both wanting to kill you, but in their eagerness get into a fight of their own and then the pudding shows up and some little ninja plushie with a butter soda runs off with warsaber's underwear...
