yep. the horizontal piece is the base. each wing is detatchable and when inserted into the base, they are held in place with a bolt secured with a cotter pin. Its definitely a 2 man job to put the thing. Personally, I'm not a fan of any wings on any suit because I have only seen a few that I feel look good. I pushed myself to make these because stepping outside of my cat comfort zone can be a good thing... I guess!

just be careful please, we did this kinda thing a few years back in my theatre department for musical to make chandeliers. Idk if its all kinds of pvc, or just the kind we were using, but supposedly heating em up could possibly release some kind of fumes that were bad for you? I dont completely know, but Id suggest doing so in a well air-rated place :c

warnings aside, this looks awesome and cannot wait to see the wings completely done!
