So, sometimes I grab a skein or two of yarn when it's on sale, just to have. You never know when you'll have nothing to do and want to make something lightning-quick. This scarf took maybe eight hours of work over the course of two overnights at work, and I love how it turned out.

The pattern itself is a simple zig-zag made from increases and decreases at the end of each odd-number row, with a neutral odd-number row to switch the direction of the pattern. It really shows off a self-striping yarn well. Also, despite being acrylic, this yarn is super-duper soft.
