"This was a great idea, Honey," I purred as we left the arbour, wrapping my arm around her shoulder. "A day out in the jungle, amazing picnic, great break away from things - just fantastic!"

("My tiger, you have no idea just how fantastic it's going to become!" she thought privately, knowing I was completely unaware of her plans for the afternoon's entertainment.) "Yeah, it is," she replied aloud with a smile. "Let's take a break in that clearing we ran across last time. It's only about half an hour from here anyway, and that should give you time to burn off some of that chicken you just polished off..."

"Hey!" I laughed. "Who was it that ate the ENTIRE block of camembert, huh?!" And with that, we headed off into the jungle, talking and laughing all the way.

I've been sitting on this series for a while, wanting to refine it and come up with a larger (and semi-decent) storyline, but thought what the hell - so here it is, with just enough words to fill in the blanks where necessary.
