It doesn't matter how thick your skin is, or how much armor you've got on, once something manages to punch its way through you need a hand. This proud lioness would never accept the help of 'smallfolk'...but when she cannot even walk without enduring agony from the steel beam buried in her thigh, her pride in her strength is forced to take a back seat to getting rid of the pain.

This and 'Blown Away', the other picture I am submitting tonight, were my final project for my Advanced Life Drawing class. I don't consider myself much of an illustrator, though I have gotten better. My preference will always be in writing and programming.
