I dont normaly ask for help. I despise it. And the last time I did, someone called the SPCA on me. (They found nothing wrong and said the report was nothing but a waste of their time btw.)
Because of that incident, I have lost a lot of faith in the people of the fandom. My FA has gone nearly non-functional because of it.
But my beloved cat, Monster, swallowed a sewing needle this afternoon. I saw it dangling from his mouth, tried to grab it, and watched it dissapear down his throat before my eyes. My hands are scratched to hell, and I ran him to the vet barefoot.
The surgery to remove it and save him is going to be 850$
It would be more, but my vet isnt charging us for several things, including the overnight stay.
Kei and I have about 100$. And only because we havent paid our bills.
My vet does not accept payment plans. They demand payment upfront at the time of pickup, which would be tomorrow morning. We have very limited options to get the money, up to attempting to get a small loan from a cash loan place in the morning.
We are not begging for donations (though if they are given they would not be refused). However loans (That we can pay back slowly over time), commissions, anything, I am imploring you. I cant loose my cat, Ive never had as deep and loving a bond with any animal as I have with him. Please. Help. Tell your friends, spread the word. Please note me.
[EDIT] He's out of surgery and doing well, the needle was still just in his stomach so it was a fast surgery. We just have to pay up come morning.

If you still wish to contribute, I will not refuse it, as I want to pay back my grandmother (who is fronting half the cost on her credit card) as quickly as possible. It's maxing out her card that she had just finished half paying off.
I may have to still take out a short term loan come morning until all the money from online makes it off (which usually takes a week or two), But I have all the money needed to hopefully cover things from between wonderful generous people and my grandmother fronting half the cost on her credit card. I will keep you all updated.

Got to the vet's this morning, and they cut the cost from 850 to 680, so it's a little less then they said. They didnt charge us for SO much. Extra from the donations and things will be going to immediately pay back my grandmother so the debt isnt collecting interest on her card. It wont cover everything she loaned us, but it should be a great help for her since she's tight on her own funds. Once she's paid off, those of you who gave me loans will be slowly paid back as I get money in here and there. Again, thank you all so much, I dont know what I would have done without my furry child.
[Edit 3] He's home! He's a grumpy beast and does not like his cone of shame... but he seems to be glad to be home. Ill have pictures to share later :3
[Edit 4] Pictures! He's so grumpy. All he does is sit on my bed and glare at nothing. Unless I come in and give him attention. Then he's nothing but purrs.

My ferret got sick from another ferret from a petstore (a common contagious ferret stomach flu basically) We had just paid all our bills and I was asking for some help to get her some babyfood and pedalyte to nurse her through it.
Two days after that, an SPCA officer arrived at my door to inspect the place because they got a report that we had sick cats and ferrets. We showed him everything, including how I was hand feeding my ferret, and gave them the name of our vet (Who we had called and spoken to and said we knew more about how to treat the bug then he did and to not even bother bringing her in unless she got worse). He checked everything off, said "This was a waste of my time, sorry to bother you" and left.

...somebody called the SPCA on you? Yah, I kinda vaguely remember that. You wouldn't say who it was, but the list of suspects was not long. So that's why you've been avoiding FA... *hugs* I missed you and Kei. I hope poor Monster just gets better with no further trouble.

Yeah, I dont want her to have to carry that burden on her credit card any longer then she has too when she just finished paying so much off on it (She just had to do a big bedbug extermination that cost her two grand. The 400 she's loaning me is what she had managed to pay off on that debt)

My cat had the fatty liver disease last year on summer and i was asking help here and also gofundme page. because i'm employee and i didn't have much money on my own.
Finally it took me lil over 500€ to get her treated. all her vet visits and expensive food paste's and such..
Took me 2 months to get her condition better, and the first times the vet didn't give any hope from her getting better.
I just said to that vet that she doesn't know anything, since vicki had given me the signs that she's getting better slowly.
So.. I basically fought her way back into life.
It's funny tho, on the same moment when i was fighting my pet cat back without no help from anyone, someone else on my watch list were in need for new xbox... >___>
There were alot peoples who donated for something like that instead... =/
Peoples seems to prefer donating for game consoles, but not saving someone's pet who's close to die.
