I designed these for my red panda's arms! They match his "stompy" feet and also work for "big armed" animals like gorillas.

Green = 1/2 inch foam
Black = fur covering
Blue = claw fingers

The main arm piece reaches from the elbow (cut a U-shape there for comfort if needed) to below the thumb. Move the arm bands where you need them. I used hot glue and it works well enough. Don't forget to round off the corners so that they aren't so harsh.

This design works best if the foam inside is removable for washing. To wash it, separate the furry covering from the foam core. Throw the furry covering in the wash as usual; lay on a fan to dry. Use disinfectant spray on the foam core and rinse it off in the sink (NO SOAP or else it will become a giant frothy sponge); wring it out and lay on fan to dry.
