Yep, bear. This pic by MW was a little one, looked almost like a doodle. I ramped up the color intensity, cleaned up the white areas (he had a lot of some blue color rubbed in everywhere), and morphed up some arms and chests, and legs.
Then a few of the colors were done with old markers, causing streaks. So I laid down some color "washes" over them, blending them more (like the red and green in the foreground, and the purple pants). And got rid of a lot of smudges. The pic looked like it was damaged by improper storage.
