The Blank Poet from DA helped me come up with an idea for an ink I could do. It was a dead bird with fire pouring from its mouth that flooms into a phoenix. I decided to do a small bird, which was first a finch, then a chickadee.

I only drew this picture so I could ink it. Coloring is not going to be my intention. It's done as it is.

The title is Chickadee Phoenix. Yes, the picture has a phoenix and fire in it, everyone knows what a phoenix is, everyone is going to look at this picture and go 'oh! What a pretty phoenix!', but I don't want people to overlook the fact that there's a chickadee as well. Yes there is life, but there is also death. Don't forget that.
